There are a ton of blogs about being an Air Force wife, but being a wife of a recruiter is a whole different game. I've been an AF wife for almsot six years now, and was searching for other's experience of recruiting, but was unable to find it. I figured I would document my experience, and hopefully help someone out down the way.
I am so incredibly sorry to hear that. I can only imagine what you're feeling right now, but i pray you'll be able to come through this and begin your quest to adopt another baby. There is a child out there for you.
I am so sorry to hear this. I can't imagine what you must be feeling right now. All I can say is that my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your husband. I hope that your hearts can heal from this and you can move forward and try again.
I am so sorry that this did not work out for you. I don't even have words to offer comfort. But I truly feel in my heart that there is a baby out there waiting just for you. And you will meet them, and you'll look into their eyes, and you'll know all this was for that moment. I hope that moment comes soon.
With the situation we are going through right now and even this EVERYTHING happens for a reason. Everything.
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” -James 1:2-4 (NIV)
I am so sorry to hear this news! I have never been through a heart-breaking experience like this one; I can only imagine. My Aunt and Uncle went through this experience twice before they came home with a beautiful baby boy. Though these hardships break our hearts, we are stronger once we've healed. My prayers are you with and your husband.
