"Cold as Hell!"
So my today, Mom left New Mexico (which really wasn't that warm... they had snow too!) and flew to the freezing Midwest. The high today was 18, with wind chill hovering around zero.... burr.... (which as a side note, it snowed last night... every time Pave leaves it snows, granted, not a lot, but still it was snow... while he enjoys the warm weather in Texas...)
So, she win's quote of the day.... when asked by my dad how it was out here, her response, without missing a beat, "Cold as Hell"!
This is one of my favorites, simply because of how unique it is. I got from Pottery Barn (I think) a few years ago when I was back home visiting my family. I guess it's the memory of that night that was what is half the joy. I hadn't been home for a while, and went without Pave. We went out to dinner and then went and walked around an 'outdoor mall' a ton of normal 'mall' stores that were all in this group, and you walk between them and there was piped in music throughout, and beautiful Christmas lights in all the trees. We had a blast, we had so much fun with each other. It was great. That night I experienced Pottery Barn for the first time.... and walked out with this beauty!
