So, a few years ago (yes, I DO know how lucky I am to classify our last deployment as 'years' ago), when Pave was deployed, I wanted to have a blue star, to honor him. We lived far away from base (literally, almost an hour) in a community that didn't really know what it meant. I loved it, but it was kinda cheesy. The only one I could find was one of my rare trips back to base (that was an hour away...) at clothing sales. The cheep polyester one, with nasty fringe...you know what I'm talking about.
Luckily, I know we have 3 more years that will be deployment free (yes, again, I know we're blessed!), I WILL be adding this to our home!
